From Liberty To Captivity is a documentary exploring the tragic reality of sex trafficking in Pennsylvania through the stories of survivors as well as abolitionists fighting to end this crime against humanity. Woven into the film is a message of justice and hope for the future. Reflecting on the powerful effect of the abolitionists in the 19th century, the film documents one state’s fight for freedom from slavery…again.

The film, produced and directed by Debbie Wright, was awarded Best Documentary in four film festivals and has won numerous other awards including best message, best editing, award of excellence, award of merit, spotlight documentary and cultural spirit.

The event will also have vendors and organizations from the region who are working directly with human trafficking and related issues. Stop by their tables to learn more and get involved!
